We live in an ever changing environment. And because of this change, it is expected that people will eventually adapt and adjust to the said change. We are expected to readily analyze the situation that is happening and do the necessary steps to address the said situation.

It is significant that while the student is trying the adjust and adapt to the change, the student must still keep his focus on his end goal which is to succeed. Flexibility is not a skill without a backbone. Truth be told, flexibility has its backbone which should help the learner take action with his or her eyes still focused on the end goal. Being flexible is required and it also has its rewards. As student needs to be flexible to survive. In lieu of abiding by a group of strict guidelines, the learners should take action necessary to the change while they set their goals, seek answers to their inquiries, navigate significant information, collaborate with others, create something, evaluate their work, improve it, share it with the world. What is the importance of the classroom life skill initiative? Initiative is actually the foundation of the spirit of being an entrepreneur. Initiative drives a person to think of an idea and makes a way to bring that idea to past. Individuals who think like businessmen are required in our every changing society. Learners should develop that skill on how to set goals for themselves. With the skill goal setting comes the planning of how the goal is to be met which should be learned by the student. Initiative requires that the student is able to executive his or her plans in order to reach the goals that he or she have set from the start of the process. There will come a point that the student will eventually learn the art of setting goals, laying out specific steps to reach the goals, and make the overall execution plan, which will make the student ready and able to cope to the real world. The inquiry process should be taught by the teachers to the students. By educating the students of the inquiry process, the mentors are able to develop learner to become people with initiatives.
