New Home, Happy Tails Meet Our Latest Adoptees!

Meet the Adorable “Peanut”

First up is Peanut, a tiny terrier mix with a heart as big as all outdoors. Found wandering near a local park, Peanut was initially shy and hesitant. But after a few days of gentle care and plenty of yummy treats from our amazing volunteers, Peanut blossomed. Now, this little one is a playful, affectionate ball of energy, always up for a game of fetch or a snuggle on the couch. Peanut is especially fond of belly rubs and chasing after squirrels (though she’s not very good at catching them!). We think Peanut would thrive in a home with a patient owner who can continue to build her confidence and provide her with plenty of love and attention. She’s perfectly house-trained and ready to become a beloved member of a new family.

Introducing Majestic “Leo”

Next, we have Leo, a stunning Maine Coon cat with a coat that looks like spun gold. Leo was surrendered to us by his previous owner, who sadly could no longer care for him. While initially aloof, Leo has shown himself to be a gentle giant with a surprisingly playful side. He loves interactive toys and enjoys a good chin scratch. Leo is a bit of a homebody, preferring the comfort of a cozy cat bed to exploring the great outdoors. He’d be the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate feline friend who appreciates quiet evenings and gentle companionship. He’s already litter-trained and very well-behaved.

The Playful Pups, “Pip” and “Squeak”

Then we have the dynamic duo, Pip and Squeak! These two adorable Jack Russell Terrier puppies arrived together and are inseparable. These little bundles of energy are full of mischief and zoomies, constantly exploring and playing. While they require a lot of exercise and attention, they are incredibly loyal and loving. They are learning basic commands and are quickly becoming housetrained. We would ideally like to see them adopted together, as they provide incredible comfort and support to each other. Their playful antics are sure to bring endless laughter and joy to any home.

The Calm and Collected “Willow”

Willow, a beautiful greyhound, is a picture of elegance and grace. She was rescued from a racing track and, while initially shy, has blossomed into a confident and gentle soul. Willow enjoys long walks and gentle runs, but she’s also happy to spend hours lounging on the sofa. She’s incredibly well-behaved, house-trained, and surprisingly low-energy for a greyhound. Willow would be a perfect companion for an active or laid-back owner who appreciates a calm and gentle friend. She’s a quiet observer and truly appreciates quiet moments and a gentle hand.

A Sweet Surprise, “Patches”

Meet Patches, a unique calico cat with a personality to match her striking appearance. Patches came to us as a stray, a little timid at first, but she’s quickly warmed up to the shelter staff. Patches is a playful cat who enjoys interactive toys and enjoys a good cuddle session. While she appreciates her alone time, she’s also incredibly affectionate once she bonds with you. Patches is completely litter-trained and ready for a loving home where she can receive plenty of attention and love. She’d be happy in a home with or without other pets, as long as she gets her daily dose of cuddles.

The Gentle Giant, “Barnaby”

Last but certainly not least, we introduce Barnaby, a gentle giant of a dog. This sweet Newfoundland mix has the most loving nature you could ever imagine. Barnaby came to us a little overweight, but with a healthy diet and regular exercise, he’s already lost several pounds and is full of playful energy. While he is large, he’s incredibly gentle and would be a wonderful companion for a family with older children who can understand his size and strength. He’s a big softy at heart and loves nothing more than belly rubs and cuddles. Barnaby is already house-trained and eager to please.
